I love to make lists, so I made a list of types of joinery. Some joinery so similar that it was only separated by one degree, and some that was only tethered to the rest of the list by the topic itself.  Joins imply the undoing of said join as well, they ask what force is needed to connect one thing to another, how long it will last and how it will move. I made a list of analogies to go with my list of joins. A:B::C:D. How I am connected to someone the way a piece of tape might hang a picture on the wall, for a minute until the humidity loosens the plastic and peels off, taking some paint with it. How they might be connected to her like a braid, leaving an imprint when separated, repeatable and intertwining.  I organized the lists in clay and in drawings, found parallels and refractions, and made a more complicated list, here.
